From there, it is about a 30-minute walk to the park. All you need to do is walk to the Helix Bridge and cross it to the Esplanade area. Next walk over to the Esplanade Pedestrian Bridge which will lead to Merlion Park. However, the most convenient way is to use grab or taxis. A heads up to all readers, if it is walking that you choose, do carry a cap or a hat along as there is no shady area while walking to the park.
